Migrating and Running VMWare ESXi on Nutanix for Data Center Operations
The Challenge

A prominent global manufacturer, facing challenges with the efficiency of its widely distributed manufacturing facilities due to an outdated data centre, sought a data centre refresh. The seamless transition from its current data centre to a new VMware on the Nutanix platform was identified as a critical priority to enhance operational capabilities across its global network of plants.

The Solution

Aspire implemented ESXi hypervisor clusters, VMware vCenter, and the Nutanix AOS Acropolis Operating System, incorporating hardware alerting and remote console access. Additionally, remote management was established at both primary and disaster recovery sites, comprehensive environment documentation was provided to facilitate deployment, replication was configured, and distributed storage and encryption were set up to ensure a robust and secure infrastructure.

The client successfully migrated all existing virtual machines and infrastructure to the new Nutanix platform within a swift 3-week. The Challenge

A premier distributor of high-quality pumping products and systems was looking for a complete Managed Services solution for a reliable and secure network infrastructure. They needed proactive support for network operations as well as integration management for emerging technologies. The customer wanted to realign their complex IT infrastructure with verified business requirements. Their diverse IT assets included a Windows Active Directory environment, 80 virtual desktops, 24 virtual servers, and 15 terabytes of data, with 70 active users.

The Solution

The service offering designed for the customer included three main parts: network security, infrastructure management, and endpoint management. Firewall configuration and Virtual Private Network (VPN) support were included in the proposal, taking advantage of the wealth of experience in our Security Division. As for infrastructure, our offering included 24/7 monitoring on all network devices, LAN/WAN support, and server and storage management. And we proposed endpoint management of PCs and mobile devices, as well as application support for related software.

The Challenge

Our client requires the capability to capture snapshots of application databases and store them securely and efficiently while reducing recovery times within their current NetApp SAN infrastructure.

The Solution

We seamlessly integrated NetApp SnapManager with their existing NetApp SAN infrastructure to meet our client's needs and imported over 50 application databases into the system. To ensure data protection and integrity, automated database snapshot policies were configured within SnapManager to enable regular snapshots of the databases.
